8-bit of fun
There are a fair few old-style arcade games that have been redeveloped for the web. Here are three of the more clever ones.
Frogger spoof Grogger was developed by 27DC for the City of Melbourne to promote pedestrian and alcohol safety (it was featured in this month’s Desktop magazine), Left 4k Dead re-hashes an old zombie-fighting game in under 4 kilobytes of Java, and Defender of the Favicon brings a space game into the 16×16 pixel favicon in your browser.
