Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I need submissions for the first issue of Antic by no later than 2 weeks from today… please!
The first issue has the theme of ‘Youth’. So have a think about it. If you don’t adhere to the theme, I’m not going to remove your sexual organs — it’s just there for guidance. I figure issues will now be quarterly rather than monthly, just because none of us have that much time. Looking forward to it. Thanks to those who have already submitted your creative work, it is very promising so far.

It’s been discussed in circles that we should start a webzine. And, with the diverse talents of the people who contribute to this blog, why shouldn’t we? Uncle Sim needs you! We’re talking original articles, photographs, graphics and sound. If you can make it, I’ll take it. That being said, I can guarantee that any copyrighted material won’t feature heavily. So things like YouTube clips and pics you’ve grabbed off the web are best left for the blog.
So here’s the deal…
Send me any crafty bits of literature, journalism, visual feasts or audio delicacies and I’ll do my darndest to fit it into the mag. Issues will hit “shelves” each month and no doubt they shall be packed with ad-free goodness!
The first issue shall be out early-July, so you have until Friday 22nd June to submit your contributions. Just send them in a stamped, self-addressed email to this address: antic at simantic dot net
The webzine (yes, I know, it’s a wanky term but you all use ‘blog’ in everyday language, right?… right?) is tentatively called Antic and shall feature your work! If anyone can mention a better name or would like to help with the design, just let me know. Thanks.
